We take your address and set a time, and if a storm just came through and the inside of the house is taking water, say that first because tarping moves ahead of scheduling. Otherwise it is usually a few days out.
The Roof Gets Walked and Photographed
Slope by slope, with hail strikes chalked. You see the photos, including the ones from the parts of the roof you cannot see from the ground.
If the shingles are sound, that is what you are told and the visit ends there. If work is warranted, the scope goes in writing with the shingle color and an install date, priced in Xactimate when a carrier is involved.
