Roof Replacement Financing in Columbia, MD

Diakite Roofing & Restoration replaces roofs and siding in Columbia, MD, and a roof is a large bill to meet in one go. Diakite Roofing & Restoration works with Enhancify, and it is Enhancify and its lending partners who handle the application, the decision and the terms. The roof itself is ours: a free inspection first, then a written scope with your shingle color and an install date, and most residential replacements are on and finished in a single day.

The Short Version

Financing Is Offered Through Enhancify and Its Lending Partners

Diakite Roofing & Restoration is a roofing contractor. We do not lend money, and we are not the ones who decide whether an application is approved. Financing for a roofing or siding project is offered through Enhancify, a financing platform, and the lending partners in its network.

The money side of it sits with them from start to finish. The application is Enhancify's, the credit decision belongs to a lending partner, and the rate, the term and the payment schedule come from whichever partner makes you an offer. Enhancify publishes its rate information and the disclosures that go with it on its own page. That page is where you should read them, and the written offer from the lender is what actually binds anybody.

Our side of it is the roof. The inspection is free, the scope goes in writing, and the crew turns up on the date in the scope. How you choose to pay for that is your business.

Step by Step

How It Runs

  1. 01

    Book the Free Roof Inspection

A HAAG certified inspector walks the roof, photographs every slope, and tells you what he found. If the shingles have years left in them, that is the finding, and there is nothing to finance.

  2. 02

    Get the Scope in Writing

Line items, shingle color, install date. You want that in your hand before you look at any way of paying for it, because the scope is the number the whole conversation runs on.

  3. 03

    Apply on Enhancify's Page

Follow the Enhancify link on this page and use their form. Enhancify states that it does not pull your credit and that in most instances its lending partners will only do a soft inquiry to shop your loan options. Whatever comes back is between you and them.

  4. 04

    We Install the Roof

Once you have settled how the job is being paid for, we set the date and go. Most residential replacements are off and on inside a single day.

The Big-Ticket Work

The Two Jobs This Comes Up On

Roof replacement and siding replacement are the whole-system jobs on this site, and they are the ones where a homeowner asks about spreading the cost. Both open with the same free inspection by a HAAG certified inspector, and both end with a written scope before anything is ordered.

What We Can and Cannot Tell You

We cannot tell you what rate you would be offered, how long a term would run, or what a payment would work out to, because none of it is ours to set. Anybody standing in your kitchen quoting finance terms for a roof is quoting something they do not control.

Enhancify publishes its rate information and the disclosures that go with it on its own page, and the lending partner issues the binding terms in writing. Read both before you sign anything. That is not caution on our part, it is simply where the paperwork lives.

Approval Is Not Something We Can Promise

There is no version of this where financing is a sure thing. Enhancify's lending partners decide whether to make an offer at all and what that offer contains, and that decision is theirs.

We have no say in it, we do not see it before you do, and we are not going to pretend otherwise to keep a job moving. If nothing comes back that suits you, the inspection was still free and the photographs and the written scope are still yours to use.

The Inspection Still Comes First

Financing changes nothing about the order of operations. The roof gets walked and photographed before there is a scope, and there is a scope before there is a number.

That order is what keeps a homeowner from financing work the roof did not need, which is a worse outcome than a roof that has to wait a season. It is also why the inspection costs nothing, since nobody should have to pay to find out whether they have a problem.

The Written Scope Is What You Would Be Financing

A scope is line items, shingle color and an install date. Retail jobs get a firm price and a firm date on that document. Insurance work is priced in Xactimate, which is the software the carriers read, so the line items come out in a format an adjuster already knows.

Until that document exists the amount is still a guess, and a guess is a poor thing to take to a lender. Getting it written down first is the difference between borrowing against a job and borrowing against an estimate.

Where the Question Usually Comes Up

The two jobs on this site with a big enough ticket for it to come up are roof replacement and siding replacement. Both are whole-system work: the old covering comes off, and what is underneath gets looked at before anything new goes on.

Either one starts with the same free inspection, and the inspection is what settles whether the work is needed at all. Emergency tarping sits outside all of this, because a roof that is open tonight gets covered tonight and the paperwork follows in daylight.

Why There Are No Numbers on This Page

You will not find a rate, a term or a payment example anywhere in our copy, and that is deliberate rather than an oversight. A contractor who advertises credit terms takes on the disclosure duties that come with them, and those duties belong with the party that actually issues the credit.

So the figures sit on Enhancify's page, beside Enhancify's disclosures, where a lender can stand behind them. Ours is the roof.

Financing FAQ

Does Diakite lend the money?

No. Diakite Roofing & Restoration is a roofing contractor. Financing is offered through Enhancify and its lending partners, and any loan agreement is between you and the lender that makes the offer.

What rate and terms would I get?

We do not set them and we do not see your offer before you do, so we are the wrong people to ask. Enhancify publishes its rate information and disclosures on its own page, and the binding rate, term and payment come from the lending partner in writing. Read those terms before you sign anything.

Does applying affect my credit?

Enhancify answers that one, not us. Their own wording is: "Enhancify does not pull your credit and in most instances our lending partners will only do a soft inquiry to shop your loan options." The hedge in that sentence is theirs, and we are not going to quietly drop it for you. The detail is in Enhancify's terms, on their page.

Am I going to be approved?

Nobody here can tell you that. Enhancify's lending partners decide whether to make an offer and what it looks like. If nothing comes back that suits you, the roof inspection was still free and you still have the photos and the written scope.

Which jobs can be financed?

That is Enhancify's call, through its lending partners. The two big-ticket jobs on this site are roof replacement and siding replacement, and the Enhancify page linked here is the branded page set up for Diakite Roofing & Restoration work.

How do I start?

Start with the roof, not the paperwork. Call (667) 200-6656, email office@diakiteroofingrestoration.com, or send the form on this page, and a HAAG certified inspector comes out. Once the scope is written down you know what you would actually be financing. Hours are Mon-Sat 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
